This is a Scott aerating fountain, with ultimate water flow and aeration. Available with only V-shape, like other aerating fountains, which use propellers instead of impellers. This fountain moves an amazing 400 gallons of water per minute in a cascading, V-shaped spray pattern, approximately 6½ feet tall by 22 feet wide. Aerating fountain do not normally shoot high in air, but they do tremendous amounts of aeration.
This high flow rate does an amazing job moving algae away from the surface, clarifying water, and decreasing pesky insects. Oxygen levels are greatly increased! Adding oxygen greatly enhances fish health and prevents fish kills, destratifies the water, and prevents muck buildup. Stainless steel, oil-free submersible motor, environmentally friendly fountain aerator. Maintenance is not required. Run 24 hours per day.
The DA-20 is also easy to install. You will need to buy two nylon ropes for mooring (not included).
This is the 115v model. 670 watts, 10 amps.
This display aerator, the DA-20, is designed to be left in the water year-round. There’s no need to remove it in the fall, clean and store it in winter, or re-install in the spring. During the winter all you have to do is shut the DA-20 off, let it freeze and forget about it until the spring thaw.
This unit comes standard with 70 feet of 12-gauge power cable, though you can buy longer cable at nominal price. You can add two, three, or four light sets when your purchase or easily add them later on. Simple to install in minutes.
